Well, I think that`s obvious, you just have to reverse the colours. The little innocent girl wandering about in a dark forest full of crouching dangers and unknown beasts (the dark and strange forms around her), waylaying her, but she remans oblivious of the danger. Just the colours are reversed, Snow White is wearing black and the dark forest is white. A rather sophisticated retelling of the story, inspired by Chirico perhaps. At least that was my spontanous association, but may be I´m too twisted, always thinking around the corner.
Usually, most of my work is achieved through "visual thinking": I prepare the storyboards / concept sketches based on what comes to my mind as images. Of course, some other photos are pure stories but for this series, it's more "visual thinking". What I like about it is that each viewer has his/her own interpretation of what's going on. I also have mine but never tell it
That`s snow-white, now I can see it clearly! The location is great indeed, you`ve got a good imagination to spot it as the right location for that story.
