@04:39Merci. Le texte est de Catherine, et c'est elle qui en a choisi l'interprétation, tout comme le jeu de son personnage.

@04:52Incredible :) Especially the atmosphere, as is common in your films, but the script is especially captivating as well... It could be a wonderful book too, I think :) At least, I just imagine this as a book that I would own and treasure... Hmmm, in fact... if it is only for myself, would you mind if I took screenshots and transcribed the script so that I could make my own? If not, that is perfectly understandable, I just thought I'd ask ^^;

@04:51This is so good...
Tant pis, I realised what she actually was saying when the film stopped. But her voice really worked and the text was good, the sentences where sharp and the film did have a meaning...
I loved this!

@04:52It is like when hatred and anger seeps into one person until it bubbles up too deep inside. Like at first, she is quite calm just thinking about events, then it cuts deeper and anger seeps through into the surface until it just escapes and first drips slowly, until it just bursts into boiling rage, detest, sorrow and regret.

In a way the whole white rooms makes it seem like she already pushed away everyone around her with how she felt, that the only one who listens is some interviewer, who also feels like running away (the scene with the moving pen).

I think this is the first shortfilm I saw from you that isn't a silent film. And it's great. Really interesting concept; I like its darkness. 8D

@04:51By the way, sound-recording is tricky (even with a pro as we did), that's why I tend to overlook it.

@04:51Thank you! It's my first "speaking" movie indeed and was a great collaboration since the actress wrote her text and left me the visual interpretation :aww:

The script was very powerful actually, so the actress wrote it. That's cool. O: And hey, for a first timer, it's pretty good. And the overlooking was totally worth it. :) Great job again!

@04:37The execution is wonderful, but I find the subtitles too fast to follow, which I tried, because I don't understand any French. :-)

This is amazing! I mean, I really felt the tension in my heart as she was speaking... maybe even more since I speak French so it feels like the words have more impact. My body did feel still as I watched it. I can understand such twisted emotions to an extent...

@04:52From the first lines I thought she was talking about herself, about what she was in the past or what she is now, or the state of walking for the sake of just walking with no purpose(In Hebrew called 'Shotetut' don't know the English word for it. It's illegal now). But no, there's more to it. What I love about your movies are the endless possibilities. She could be talking about an ex, dead or alive, if alive then handicapped or mad. In fact the speaker's words about her lover still loving the ex could not necessarily be literally loving and fucking her(excuse me) but rather he living in the past, with a dead ex. The speaker wants to kill an already dead person and her lover, but not necessarily literally rather figuratively. Once again returning to the possibility that the speaker and the ex are one and the same and she literally does want to kill 'the ex' and the lover, it could mean murder of the lover and then unconscious suicide, thus explaining the sudden ending. Like I said, the possibilities are endless. I think this one is your greatest yet, including the helpful and wonderfully timed subs(I don't speak french sadly), the magnificent use of black contrasting with the white with possible endless meanings(ink being the blood, the love the pain)and the whiteness all around created that perfect feel of dirty sterile if you know what I mean. Thank you so much for furthering human culture,
Hp

Wow, thanks a lot! I always love reading your detailed feedback.
I also think that the black man is an interesting character, and his presence have different meanings and impacts on what the place might be. When reading the text, I had one interpretation but it grew over time, especially when I used symbolic elements, like I almost always do. This already gave us different meanings when recording it.

It must be immensely enjoyable creating a world each time with only a very short movie, I would say you're lucky, but it's obviously more skill than luck. May artist everywhere, in every field, aspire to such quality. I never realized the man's presence, will have to watch it again another time, though I'm afraid it's one interpretation per movie for me, ;D
