Hey, I was wondering if I can use this for a quote journal for my English class. One of my topics is Materialism and this fits perfectly.

Sure, just cite my name.
I'm not sure I'm much of a valuable quote author though :giggle:

This looks awesome!
Um, would I be able to quote the words only for a school assignment of mine? It would be really useful - it's a feature article about how Australia is becoming Materialistic. <3

Very true.

Step 1) Create a need, telling consumers that their lives are incomplete.
Step 2) Sell them the solution... your product.
Step 3) Repeat.

Manufacturers aren't advertising products, they're advertising feelings, emotions, and loyalties.

Anyway, I love this piece. Not only for the message, but also for arrangement of type set in front of a dark, mechanical blueprints.

haha, love that the words "buy more" are somewhat subliminally emphasized...as if you're secretly suggesting the opposite of what your words say.

It is indeed a very interesting logic. Materialism is a youthful pleasure, something to enjoy while we're young :P

Greatly efficient typography work, blissfully uncomplicated, straight to the point, yet always elegant.

Having and buying more things doesn't make us happy (or does it only for a short while). Having things that are necessary (like warm home, food and clothes) puts our mind at ease (we stop to worry) and thus we are happier. That's my point of view. There has to be balance in everything.

Like the drawings in the background - especially the curved, seam-like lines.
