Fantastic work, as I imagine you are tired of hearing, but nonetheless...
The mood to your little film here is intriguing and I am interested to here what was your intention of it. From my perspective, it seems as though the woman in black is bombarded with the same people, the same troubles, the same routine, no matter where she goes. Either that or she has some seriously...interesting friends :)

Thank you for enjoying it :)
I've briefly summarized my intention in the description of the piece. I of course have my own interpretation but the purpose of such experimental pieces is to let the viewer interpret them. That's why I tend to keep my "story" secret ;)

I figured you would not just completely go into extreme detail of your own intention.
Such is the job left for the viewer. :)

I really did find it interesting and am excited to see any more you may put up. :)

:aww: My pleasure :)

The next big project for this summer is a big photo-collection, where you'll have plenty of space for interpretation ;)

@07:40Good morning Jean-Sébastien, I really liked the idea behind it and the choreography as well as the music, the only thing I have to say is that it seemed more like a collection of ideas and not a structured in any way story. Apart from that beautiful work

@07:40Thank you very much for your feedback, I quite appreciate it. It was indeed a collection of ideas. The way I've sequenced them, though, makes sense for me and I'm used to make non-narrative work (even if it's quite uncommon in short-movies). But I guess you already know that if you're following my video work ;)

Have a great day!

@07:40This was really interesting! I like how the woman in black seemed uncomfortable throughout most of the video, but seemed to glory in the fact that these colorful people surrounded her. Perhaps the character wants to surround herself with people who have colorful personalities so that maybe it would rub off on her, replacing or altering her dull one. She seems a little stoic at first but quickly comes to realize that personality-color can rub off on a person, but it wouldn't be their own unique personality. So when everyone freezes around her, she sees that when things around her stop (people who may stop hanging around her) she herself can keep going without them.
Another thing I liked about this film was the wardrobe choice and lack of dialogue. The dialogue was there, but unspoken.
I like your body-language films, Jean; they really say something more than words can. They do say that actions speak louder than words, I guess. :D
Nice work here! Keep up your unique and fun ideas! :)

@07:41The effect might be interesting indeed. However, the motivations of the character (as I understand them) would have been different if we assume reversing is not just an effect but has meaning.
