About CEREMONIALS The situations presented in CEREMONIALS unquestionably share some mysterious interpretations: tragedy or comedy? If the formal aspect of a ceremony seems to link them, the motivation and the reactions of their characters as well as the symbolic elements are difficult to understand.
Are they an analysis, or even a caricature of our everyday life? Are they linked to reality as suggested by the clothes and contemporary places? Or do they have to be considered independently of a precise context - entities of their owns?
No explanation emerges: from the global view of the situations to the more microscopic inspection of each character (and his/her motivations or sometimes ambiguous reactions), each approach brings a different interpretation. The keys will never be shared.
Without dogmatism nor a literal approach, CEREMONIALS plays with imagination.
you really know how to push the boundaries of the mind, along with the photographic world of storytelling. I like it. and I don't think I'm the only one.
Thank you very much for your feedback, I quite appreciate it. CEREMONIALS was a very interesting project to develop, and helped me collaborate with more people
i think it leaves pretty mysterious because the image is too small to recognize the faceexpression very well and i understand that you do this because of copyright violations in the past
