i think dA is a better platform for showing art, especially because of the rights policy facebook makes. uploading a picture and giving all the rights to them? they must be kidding. another point is, when i go to a museum to watch some art i just want to be seen as art-appreciator or at leat as some kind of, as it is here on dA, they dont have to know where i come from, what i do to earn my money, who my friends are and so on, thats the downside of watching and commenting on art on facebook. in conclusion i can totally agree with you by prefering dA even if i just became a watcher of art in the last years here.
