Even if you know French, this is rather evocative and not easy to understand anyway ;)

@00:17I guess there's a chaining of compression / noise gate / limiter / reverb

Wish my French was better... I could only get parts of what she said. Yet I found the same atmosphere and that feeling of "simple special moment" all your movies have.
I really enjoyed the soundtrack, and I assume it's yours, as usual.
Thank you for being here and sharing this with us.

@03:19Thank you :) I know Lain but didn't make a conscious link to it.
As explained in my other comments, understanding the text doesn't help much if you like, I can send you a rough translation of them.

Ah, can I have a note of the translation as well?
My interpretation... is not very solid. Though I think it have something to do with denial and acceptance.
The subject in the beginning knows something or felt something that makes her feel insecure (hugging the scarf tighter), but she avoided it or chose to ignore it. She was happy.
Ignoring the "blind spot", or whatever she was avoiding, she decided to broaden her view on the world. She want to take a look at other things (glasses and video camera are things that you see through. So I would interpret it as seeing the world from different views.)

But as she sees more, she began to reflect more on her own problems. And her "blind spot" is somehow touched upon. (black sphere ripples) What she had been trying to avoid is now revealed to her, and it troubles her.
Things that she have been trying to hide in the back of her mind, she can not hide anymore. (Puking alphabets?)
At last, she decided that she must accept what she have been avoiding. (Crawling towards the light.)
She embrace the factor, whether it's good or bad.

I'm sure I would get a different interpretation once I knows the script, which would be very nice to know.
Something I notice about your movie is that it's very interactive. The audience will often interpret it differently based on self-reflection. Audiences are pulled to relate to the subject of the film while they are watching it. I myself is very prone to denying things I don't like, and this is probably why I interpreted it the way I did.

@03:19wonderful but sad movie (for me). like she had some hidden secret pushed aside, which pops up when looking thru other's eyes (aka camera or borrowed spectacles). and ignoring it made it swallow her...
as you see I have no idea about the french words but I guess thats the fun of it - coming up with totally different interpretions ;-)
all in all - it!

@03:19I loved this film. I am still learning French and could only understand a few parts of the narration, but my interpretation is that it is about a girl who, in trying to maintain her job and relationships, tried to become someone she wasn't. However, in the end she was consumed so much by her own lies that she became that person she created, and lost sight of her own values. I know many people who will lie about their interests and everything just to get ahead in life, and in the end it just hurts them.
Whether my interpretation was completely wrong or not, I still think that this is a beautifully directed film, and your actress is very good!

I really like this! I don't know the words been said, which really gets me thinking about what is been viewed (I like that) and leading to a purer personal interpretation (well I think so anyways! ;P)

For me, it signifies two things. How we view and how we are viewed. The way, we can choose what people see of us, the true raw human emotions often been hidden behind words, which effectively creates "a blind spot" to those who view us. Thus the way we are viewed is never our true image. And the process of showing your pure self, means showing that raw emotion, right from the bottom up, otherwise the way we are viewe, the labels and words will quite literally incase us, and our true virtues and beauty will be blocked out (Such as when you blocked out the sun in the 'blind spot'). Well that is how I see it anyways.

I love the mix of bother the environment/scenery, props and human expression used here. Distinguishes it so nicely.

I shall shut up now. :P

I absolutely loved this. Once again it captured and moved and touched and was the pinnacle of horror filming in my opinion. I intercepted it as she being pregnant, feeling the morning sickness (maybe even more surprising and powerful since it feels like morning no more)in the middle of filming, in the middle of her "safe place" doing something she enjoys. She renders it a curse, a sickness, towards the end, even a horrible prison. The feeling of pregnancy, something at least to do with a baby a child, is the letters she spits out, black and menacing and horrible to her, maybe because they're really just fridge magnets, something for a child, a child she fears. Once again loved the direction, filming, music, even special effects and of course the flawless acting.

@03:19Liked it a lot. Watched it during class (shame on me) so without the sound and I thought it was meant to be this way. Guess I'll have to watch it again, or I'll stick to what I saw.

It's beautiful and touching.

i knew this face was familiar, seems to be the younger sister of Stéphanie? pretty interesting work again. due to the fact that you are always curoius what people think of your work and what they see in your movies: here are my thoughts. seems to me she has borderline-syndrom or some dark memories she can't talk about (coughing the black letters) and so there is point in veery day for her, where she remembers something which lets her close into herself again and leaves everything around her alone. sad and feeling pitty for her.
