@04:30Wonderful and passionate, and in such a way that it made me feel very good And I read in one of your comments that it was completely improvised by the actors? That is absolutely amazing, since it seemed so perfectly choreographed! And incidentally, it was beautifully edited as well
Thanks! The movie isn't completely improvised. Here how it works: the day before filming, we went on-location with my script and tried different scenes. The actors interpreted the script and improvised a dance. I then selected what was interesting for me and we recorded everything the day after. The dance still remained partly improvised.
This was of working (collaborating with actors, rather than rigidly directing them) might not be common-place in cinema but is quite common now in theatre (we are all involved in some way in theatre)
Aha! Well that is a bit more realistic, I suppose However, it is still very wonderful to see collaboration like that produce something so amazing There is a place for rigidly-directed acting, to be sure, but it is very refreshing to see something so open and free
@04:30Great work, as usual. Very sensual, it has passion, emotion, very strong non-verbal language. Makes you think. Makes you wanna listen to tango. To hum, or even dance, even if you cannot tango. Executed flawlessly. Congrats!
congratulations!!!
